Senior Software Engineer, Payments and Trust

• Ship complex and detail-focused projects by collaborating with Engineers, Product Managers, Designers, Data Scientists, and representatives from Support and Finance.
• Build features at scale, shipping robust platforms that process millions of transactions.
• Understand customers’ success and system health through monitoring and data analytics.
• Engage with world-class infrastructure and experiment with modern AI tools to multiply engineering effectiveness.

This role directly impacts Lime's mission to provide shared, affordable, and carbon-free transportation by ensuring reliable payment systems and preventing fraud, enabling millions of rides globally.

• 6+ years of professional software development experience, with a track record of building impactful products or systems.
• Experience shipping software integrating external services to enable customer outcomes.
• Owner's mindset, data-driven, excellent communication skills, and customer-focused.
• Preferred: experience in payment processing, accounting, fraud, or business operations.

Base salary range reflects Lime's reasonable expectations, with final salary determined by location and skills. Total compensation may include discretionary annual performance bonus and equity. Remote position in Canada.
