Senior Software engineer

• Design, develop, and maintain complex enterprise-scale Java applications, including backend and full-stack features using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and relational databases.
• Support modernization initiatives, migrating legacy or monolithic systems to modern, cloud-ready architectures.
• Collaborate with product, QA, DevOps, and architecture teams to deliver end-to-end solutions, ensuring performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineers, and contribute to Agile/Scrum delivery.

This role contributes to Eurofins' mission of improving global health and safety by developing robust software systems that support scientific testing and laboratory workflows, enabling faster and more accurate results.

• Strong experience in software design patterns, object-oriented design, and clean coding practices.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and relational databases (SQL Server, MongoDB).
• Experience with unit testing and mocking frameworks (JUnit, Mockito), performance profiling, and memory analysis.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture, Azure cloud-native development, and DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Docker).
