Senior Software Engineer - (Connect Platform)

• Build and maintain API integrations with OEMs and energy partners, ensuring reliability, performance, and test coverage.
• Strengthen the connectivity platform by reducing incidents and improving observability, monitoring, and alerting.
• Take on complex projects and drive them through to release, breaking them into actionable work.
• Work with product and the team to align platform priorities, balancing stability with delivery.

This role directly enables the energy transition by building the software infrastructure that connects and orchestrates clean energy devices like EVs, heat pumps, and solar inverters, making the grid more efficient and sustainable.

• Experience writing maintainable, testable backend code, ideally with API or integration work.
• Excited about platform engineering in the product sense (building connectivity layer, not infrastructure).
• Systematic about debugging issues across services and preventing recurrence.
• Communicates clearly, contributes to technical discussions, and explains complex topics to non-technical stakeholders.
