Senior Product Designer

• Own and lead the full customer journey for Residential & Business customers in energy use portals, insight widgets, and outbound communications.
• Drive best-in-class Design practices, leveraging and contributing to Uplight's UI Design System.
• Facilitate qualitative user research studies and distill complex problems into approachable steps.
• Partner cross-functionally to align on user problems and champion a culture of continuous learning.

This role directly contributes to decarbonization and building a more sustainable future by designing user experiences that motivate energy users and providers to accelerate the clean energy ecosystem.

• 5+ years of experience in software/digital product design with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in full stack Product Design: Research, UX/Interaction Design, UI/Visual Design, prototyping, and Design Systems.
• Deep fluency with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Lucid, JIRA, Google Workspace, and user research platforms.
• Technical fluency with frontend capabilities (e.g., React, Angular) and component frameworks.
