at Crux Climate

🏢 About Crux Climate

Backed by top investors like Andreessen Horowitz and strategic partners like Pattern Energy and Orsted, Crux is at the forefront of streamlining sustainable finance and accelerating clean energy infrastructure. Working here means joining a mission-driven team of 120+ experts tackling one of the most urgent challenges: financing the future of energy.

About This Role

As Senior Principal of Business Management for Debt, you will lead the strategy, structuring, and execution of debt financing solutions for clean energy tax credit transactions. You will own relationships with lenders, investors, and internal stakeholders to scale Crux's debt platform, directly enabling the deployment of billions in capital for renewable projects. This role is pivotal in shaping how Crux bridges traditional project finance with innovative tax credit markets.

💡 A Day in the Life

Your day might involve leading a call with a major lender to negotiate terms for a tax credit transfer, then working with internal teams to structure a new debt product. Later, you'll strategize with Crux's leadership on scaling the debt platform, and review financial models to assess risk. Expect a mix of high-level strategy, transaction execution, and relationship management.

  • Strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, capable of representing Crux to senior executives and boards.
