Mission
What you will drive
- Execute DWN's campaigns (currently Communities Not Cages) including coordination, strategy development, outreach, and evaluation.
- Grow and deepen DWN's base by increasing campaign reach and developing cohesive organizing strategies.
- Build and support local or regional coalitions aligned with DWN's values to end immigration detention.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with grassroots member organizations and encourage their participation in programmatic activities.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- At least three years' experience in community organizing, immigrant rights, or student organizing strongly preferred (five years for Organizing Manager).
- Demonstrated success working with grassroots organizing campaigns.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to travel at least 30% of the time.
Benefits
What's in it for you
Salary range: $65,000–$70,000 (Senior Organizer) or $70,000–$80,000 (Organizing Manager), plus cost-of-living adjustment. Benefits include a 4-day work week (32 hours), 3 weeks PTO (increasing with tenure), two weeks end-of-year closure, wellness fund ($500/year), monthly cell phone stipend, and eligibility for an eight-week sabbatical after three years.
