Senior Operations Manager

• Build and manage compliance, financial, and operational infrastructure to enable Encode's growth from 7 to 20+ team members.
• Execute legal and regulatory compliance work across 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) entities with external counsel.
• Lead financial operations including budgeting, expense tracking, financial reporting, and audit coordination.
• Manage relationships with external partners including lawyers, accountants, brokers, and consultants.

This role enables Encode to scale its operations effectively, allowing the organization to focus on its mission of advancing AI safety and governance.

• Experience in operations management, preferably in a nonprofit or startup environment.
