Mission

What you will drive

  • Lead and manage the RF team, providing technical direction for satellite RF system architectures and subsystem design.
  • Own the RF design process, implement and improve PCBA processes, and lead detailed RF system modeling and EM simulation efforts.
  • Develop system level budgets, conduct RF system architecture trade studies, and direct design validation and qualification campaigns.
  • Act as subject matter expert in new program proposal development and manage outsourced components with external vendors.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • BSEE/Physics + 10 years related experience, or MSEE/Physics + 8 years related experience.
  • Expert knowledge of EM simulation tools (MWO, ADS, HFSS) and RF system/payload budgeting.
  • Expert knowledge in at least two of: space-based antenna systems, high-power PA design, satellite communications transponders, SDR/DSP, or ultra-stable oscillator design.
  • Deep hands-on experience with RF circuits/systems, familiarity with spacecraft architectures, and experience leading teams.
