Senior Manager, Narrative & Storytelling

• Develop and execute narrative change strategies to build public awareness and support for Campus Compact's mission and the public purposes of higher education.
• Create compelling content including blog posts, email campaigns, videos, and social media to inspire action and share member success stories.
• Lead PR and media relations efforts, including writing op-eds, building journalist relationships, and securing media placements.
• Supervise the Digital Communications Coordinator and collaborate with the communications team to manage the communications calendar and foster a collaborative team culture.

This role amplifies the voices of higher education institutions and students engaged in civic and community engagement, fostering democratic participation and preparing students to navigate and shape our democracy.

• 3+ years of experience in a communications role focused on storytelling.
• 3+ years of experience in a Manager-level or similar capacity role with supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated excellence in crafting compelling written content for various channels and strong proofreading skills.
• Experience working with journalists and media outlets to secure earned and unearned media placements.

Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 per year.
