- Attend funder meetings, identify next steps, and close six- and seven-figure gifts by understanding donor portfolios and timing asks effectively.
- Coach program directors on funder engagement; coordinate strategy across programs to match funders with the right opportunities.
- Prepare high-quality materials including proposals, briefings, and stewardship updates; maintain CRM systems and pipeline reporting.
- Requires 7+ years frontline fundraising or comparable sales experience with track record closing major gifts.
- Requires ability to work alongside scientists, translate complex research, and build trust quickly with sophisticated donors.
