Senior Full-stack Engineer - Mapping Web Services

• Own and architect backend services (FastAPI) for the HD Mapping team's web infrastructure
• Support development of frontend tools for interacting with Zoox’s maps (TypeScript, React, MUI, Deck.gl)
• Automate complex pipelines and workflows
• Mentor team members on web technologies and distributed systems

This role will be instrumental in scaling Zoox's mapping operations into multiple new cities, enabling the deployment of fully autonomous vehicle fleets that aim to provide safer, more efficient urban mobility.

• Strong experience in backend development and distributed systems
• Frontend experience and knowledge of best practices (proficiency in Python, TypeScript, and React)
• Knowledge of relational database design (Postgres) and RESTful API development
• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor others
