Senior Flood Modeller

• Develop and check hydraulic models using software like Flood Modeller, TUFLOW, Mike 11, Mike 21, HEC-RAS, and ICM for flood alleviation schemes, flood risk assessments, and reservoir flood studies.
• Lead and input into tenders ranging from innovative one-off projects to multimillion-pound framework contracts.
• Mentor junior staff and build client relationships across technical disciplines.

This role contributes to flood risk management and climate resilience, protecting communities and infrastructure from flooding while supporting sustainable water resource management.

• Senior-level experience in flood modelling and hydrology.
• Proficiency in hydraulic modelling software (Flood Modeller, TUFLOW, Mike 11, Mike 21, HEC-RAS, ICM) and hydrological assessment methods (Flood Estimation Handbook, ReFH2, WINFAP).
• Experience in water quality modelling (MIKE, Delft3D, SIMCAT, ICM) is desirable.
• Strong project management and client relationship skills.
