What you will drive
- Lead and manage the Platform Engineering & Data Systems team to build and maintain scalable infrastructure for processing and delivering methane and CO2 data.
- Design and implement data pipelines, cloud architecture, and data storage solutions to support the organization's remote sensing data products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accessibility and reliability for the Carbon Mapper Data Portal.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing platform or data engineering teams.
- Strong expertise in cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and data engineering tools (SQL, Python, data pipelines).
- Experience with geospatial data, remote sensing, or environmental data systems is highly preferred.
