Senior Engineer, Software Development

• Serve as technical lead for larger projects, establishing technical direction and monitoring project management metrics.
• Develop and unit test features for Smart Grid solutions using .NET Core, Kubernetes, Helm, C#, and cloud technologies.
• Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on design, development, and validation of complete Smart Grid solutions.

This role directly contributes to the development of Smart Grid solutions that optimize energy usage, support decarbonization, and enable grid modernization, helping utilities and consumers transition to a more sustainable energy future.

• Expert status with .NET Core, Helm, and C#; strong SOAP Web Services, REST API, and TCP/IP knowledge.
• Experience with Windows/Linux, Docker, Kubernetes (GKE, RKE2), Kafka, and database scripting (Postgres, Oracle, SQL Server).
• 6-10 years of software development experience; B.S. in Computer Science or related degree.
• Demonstrated team leadership skills and ability to mentor junior engineers.
