Senior Electrical Preconstruction Project Engineer

• Support preconstruction coordination for electrical system design and procurement on utility-scale renewable energy projects.
• Develop and manage detailed electrical Bills of Material (BOM) through material take-offs and design reviews.
• Coordinate procurement activities including RFQ development, bid evaluation, vendor coordination, and purchase order release.
• Track design and material submittals, project schedules, and procurement milestones using tools like Smartsheet.

This role directly contributes to the successful deployment of utility-scale solar and battery storage projects, accelerating the transition to renewable energy and reducing carbon emissions.

• 2–5+ years of experience in electrical construction, procurement, estimating, or materials management, preferably on utility-scale solar or EPC projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or equivalent.
• Proficient in Bluebeam and Microsoft Excel; Smartsheet preferred.
• Strong understanding of electrical install practices, material applications, procurement workflows, and lead time management.

Compensation Range: $90,468.00 - $113,085.00 (Salary)
