Senior Electrical Designer

• Develop and review detailed engineering drawings and documentation for electrical generation facilities using AutoCAD or CAD-based platforms.
• Collaborate with lead engineers, project managers, and discipline leads to ensure drawing packages are technically accurate and compliant with standards.
• Support engineering design from conceptual through IFC phases, incorporating review comments and field markups.
• Interface with civil/structural, mechanical, and protection & controls disciplines to resolve design conflicts.

This role contributes to designing the grid of the future by producing accurate engineering packages for renewable energy and substation projects, enabling the transition to a modern, secure, and resilient energy infrastructure.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Drafting & Design, or a related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (or equivalent CAD platform).
• Familiarity with electrical generation systems and standard drawing types (SLDs, schematics, layouts).
• Preferred: Experience with utility-scale generation technologies (solar PV, BESS, wind) and document management platforms.
