Senior Director of Learning & Impact

• Lead the implementation and refinement of Thousand Currents' organizational learning framework and systems to support strategy execution.
• Oversee data collection, analysis, and sensemaking to inform organizational learning and adaptation.
• Foster a culture of learning across the organization, including facilitating reflections and building staff capacity.
• Manage the Data and Knowledge Manager and collaborate with the Executive Team to ensure shared ownership of learning.

This role ensures that Thousand Currents' work is continuously learning and adapting, amplifying the impact of grassroots movements fighting for food, climate, and economic justice.

• 10+ years of senior-level experience in learning, evaluation, applied research, or related fields, preferably in social justice philanthropy or movement-aligned organizations.
• Knowledge of thematic areas such as food sovereignty, climate justice, or economic justice.
• Experience partnering with grassroots movements, especially in the global majority.
• Strong project management, facilitation, and communication skills; experience with CRM/knowledge management systems.

Salary: $152,000 USD per year. Full-time remote position with up to 10% travel. Thousand Currents offers a collaborative, values-driven culture and is committed to professional development.
