Senior Director, Individual Giving (Major Gifts)

• Build, manage, and grow a portfolio of high-capacity donors and philanthropic advisors to secure 5-, 6-, and 7-figure gifts.
• Develop and execute tailored cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies for each donor, personally leading meetings and closing significant gifts.
• Partner with leadership and program staff to translate programmatic priorities into compelling funding opportunities and drive revenue growth.
• Design and implement a comprehensive individual giving strategy, maintain a robust donor pipeline, and analyze performance metrics to optimize fundraising.

This role directly expands resources for Voting Rights Lab's mission to protect and expand voting rights, ensuring democratic participation and equitable access to the ballot for all eligible voters.

• 8+ years of nonprofit fundraising experience with a strong focus on individual major gifts.
• Proven track record of successfully soliciting and closing six- and seven-figure gifts.
• Experience managing a high-value donor portfolio and meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
• Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and strategic thinking skills; experience in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments.

Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits package. Hiring range: $135,000-$170,000 per year.
