Senior Developer Tech Equity Fellowship

• Mentor and supervise junior apprentice developers through code reviews, check-ins, and guidance on development best practices.
• Contribute to coding, architecture planning, and technical decision-making for partner projects.
• Engage in community activities such as meeting with partners, providing input on curriculum, and supporting the nonprofit's mission.

This role directly expands access to tech careers for low-income individuals by mentoring apprentice developers from diverse backgrounds, helping them gain real-world experience and launch life-changing careers.

• 5-10+ years of web development experience, including at least 3 years of recent full stack development with front-end React.
• Experience with Node.js/Express, and familiarity with Next.js, GraphQL, ElasticSearch, TypeScript, SQL, AWS, or Python is helpful.
• Teaching or mentoring experience, such as serving as a development team lead.
• Passion for broadening access to opportunity in tech and working with diverse backgrounds.
