Senior Data Scientist

• Lead development of machine learning models to detect underperformance, faults, and anomalies in PV and storage system time-series data.
• Build diagnostic logic to distinguish root causes of underperformance (soiling, shading, inverter clipping, etc.).
• Own the data science lifecycle from problem definition through deployment and monitoring.
• Partner with engineering to integrate models into the Resolv platform and track field performance.

This role directly supports Omnidian's mission to build a more sustainable future by enabling faster detection of solar and storage system issues, reducing truck rolls, and improving customer experience, thereby accelerating the adoption of renewable energy.

• MS in a quantitative field or equivalent experience; 6+ years in applied data science.
• Strong hands-on experience with time-series methods (anomaly detection, forecasting, seasonal decomposition, state-space models).
• Production ML experience including model deployment, monitoring, and retraining pipelines.
• Proficiency in Python (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn) and SQL; experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
