How to Apply for Senior Data Analyst
at Homebase
🏢 About Homebase
Homebase is a national nonprofit intermediary that partners with communities to design and implement solutions to homelessness, with a strong focus on California and national systems change. Its Research, Evaluation, and Data Initiative (REDI) team is at the forefront of using mixed-methods research to build local capacity and inform policy. Working here means directly contributing to ending homelessness through evidence-driven practice and collaborative problem-solving.
About This Role
As a Senior Data Analyst on the REDI team, you will lead a portfolio of data-focused projects that support communities in assessing and improving their responses to homelessness. You will apply econometric methods to evaluate programs, uncover patterns in complex data, and translate findings into actionable insights for policy and systems change. This role is pivotal in strengthening both community capacity and Homebase’s internal data capabilities.
💡 A Day in the Life
A typical day might involve analyzing HMIS data to evaluate a community’s coordinated entry system, drafting a report on health and housing integration, and meeting with local CoC leaders to discuss findings. You’ll also collaborate with REDI teammates to refine evaluation tools and share methodological insights across projects.
