Senior Counsel

• Provide legal counsel to SB Energy's cross-functional teams, supporting growth in datacenter, solar, battery storage, and new technology segments.
• Support project and corporate financing, including construction debt, tax equity, and equipment financing.
• Negotiate and draft acquisition structures, real estate agreements, power purchase agreements, EPC and O&M agreements.
• Manage outside counsel and advise on legal issues across development and operations.

This role accelerates the energy transition by enabling the development of large-scale renewable energy and data center infrastructure, contributing to cleaner, more sustainable power sources for America.

• JD from a leading law school and licensed to practice in applicable state.
• 5+ years of relevant experience at a major law firm or sophisticated in-house legal department.
• Significant experience in renewables transactions, focusing on M&A, real estate, or project development and finance.
• Excellent communication, project management, and negotiation skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Base pay: $160,000-$200,000. Total compensation may include discretionary annual bonus and comprehensive health & wellness benefits.
