Senior Counsel, Reproductive Health Law Advising

• Provide comprehensive legal advice to clients on reproductive health law and related issues, including compliance advice for healthcare providers and supporters navigating the post-Roe legal landscape.
• Conduct legal research, analysis, and writing; prepare legal memos and client advice documents.
• Supervise other attorneys, legal fellows, and interns as needed; mentor less experienced staff.
• Represent the Lawyering Project at conferences, convenings, and speaking engagements; participate in working groups with allied organizations.

This role directly supports reproductive healthcare providers and supporters by providing free legal advice and technical assistance, helping them navigate legal barriers and continue offering essential services, thereby advancing reproductive health, rights, and justice in the United States.

• J.D. or equivalent degree and active license to practice law in a U.S. jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience practicing law.
• Significant experience managing client relationships and providing compliance advice on complex legal issues.
• Knowledge of laws affecting access to healthcare, reproductive rights jurisprudence, and the reproductive health, rights, and justice movement.

Full-time, exempt position. Fully remote within the United States. Occasional evening and weekend work required. Travel domestically 3-5 times per year. Salary not specified.
