How to Apply for Senior Case Manager & Resource Navigator
at The Community Impact Fund
🏢 About The Community Impact Fund
The Khidmah Fund (TKF) is a national nonprofit charitable endowment (waqf) initiative dedicated to providing compassionate, dignified, and timely support to religious scholars, teachers, and imams in the Muslim-American community facing hardship. Rooted in the Islamic principles of khidmah (service) and adab (respect and dignity), TKF is building a confidential, peer-informed model of support that honors those who serve communities through teaching, guidance, and leadership. Working here means joining a pioneering effort to create a sustainable, faith-based safety net for a often-overlooked group of community servants.
About This Role
As the first Senior Case Manager & Resource Navigator, you will build TKF's case management infrastructure from the ground up, directly supporting imams, scholars, and teachers in crisis. You will manage sensitive cases with discretion, coordinate with Regional Leads and external service systems, and document demand to strengthen TKF's capacity. This part-time, remote role offers a unique opportunity to shape a national program that provides dignified support to those who serve Muslim communities.
💡 A Day in the Life
A typical day might involve reviewing new referrals from Regional Leads, conducting confidential intake assessments with potential beneficiaries, and researching resources to address their specific needs. You might also coordinate with external service providers, document case notes, and participate in virtual team meetings to refine TKF's case management processes. The work is deeply meaningful, requiring both empathy and strategic thinking to support scholars and imams in hardship.
