Senior Associate, Utility Regulatory Solutions - Carbon-Free Buildings Program

• Lead and contribute to data-driven efforts and publications on utility regulatory topics, focusing on natural gas utilities and building decarbonization.
• Engage with regulators and advocates to support implementation of innovative regulatory reforms.
• Structure and deliver compelling presentations and written products to communicate insights to industry and partners.
• Manage small projects, including research methods, timelines, stakeholder engagement, and ensure high-quality deliverables.

This role accelerates the equitable decarbonization of buildings by transforming utility regulations and business models, enabling a clean energy future that benefits communities and the climate.

• At least 4 years of relevant professional experience in utility regulation, utility strategy, climate/energy advocacy, policy, law, or related fields.
• Familiarity with the U.S. utility industry, including key trends and stakeholder landscape; expertise in gas utility policy, ratemaking, performance-based regulation, or building decarbonization preferred.
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills, with experience conducting policy research and formulating recommendations.
• Experience leading projects and working in a project-based environment.

Salary range: $84,000-$103,000 annually (USD), plus annual bonus target of 5% and merit-based increases.
