What you will drive

  • Design, implement, test, and maintain features across Tor's Android applications, including debugging and resolving complex issues.
  • Contribute to maintaining and evolving long-lived mobile applications across multiple release cycles.
  • Take ownership of complex or cross-cutting technical work from design through delivery.
  • Participate in technical design and architecture discussions, helping evaluate tradeoffs and implementation approaches.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • Substantial experience building, shipping, and maintaining Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
  • Deep familiarity with Android application architecture, lifecycle, background execution, IPC, and release processes.
  • Comfortable owning complex technical work end-to-end and working with CI-driven development workflows.
  • Strong code review and debugging skills, with experience mentoring other engineers.
