Role details
Develop clean energy and carbon market policy analysis and advocacy strategy to accelerate grid decarbonization across the western U.S.
- Conduct research and policy analysis on clean electricity, carbon markets, and related climate topics; develop recommendations to inform EDF's advocacy strategy.
- Represent EDF in external forums with policymakers, regulators, and stakeholders; prepare briefing materials and policy analysis for diverse audiences.
- Lead quantitative and qualitative research projects evaluating proposed regulations and legislation across emissions, economic, health, and equity metrics.
- Coordinate with external consultants and communications teams to translate complex findings into actionable advocacy priorities and accessible messaging.
- Requires Bachelor's degree in environmental science, economics, public policy, or related field plus 4 years relevant professional experience.
