Scientific Community-Building Fellow

• Create an outreach strategy to engage critical and underrepresented disciplines in plant-based meat research.
• Map key disciplines, individuals, and forums; build a database of people and societies.
• Develop outreach materials and support relationship-building with academic departments.
• Coordinate outreach, schedule meetings, and synthesize findings into a final report.

This role helps grow the research community for plant-based meat, accelerating solutions to climate change, global health, food security, and biodiversity challenges.

• Fluency in physical sciences or engineering (Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 3+ years academic research).
• Ability to translate technical concepts across disciplines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience planning scientific events or community-building preferred.

Temporary, part-time position (15 hours/week for 16 weeks). Pay rate: $7200 total ($30/hour). Remote, United States.
