Researcher

• Coordinate external research and desk research on insecticides and insect anesthetics for humane agriculture.
• Design and oversee scientific research studies conducted by external academic labs via contracts.
• Interpret research on insecticides, insect neuroscience, animal welfare, and agricultural science.
• Meet with and interview external experts in agriculture, insect physiology, and insecticide production.

This role advances humane agriculture by researching safer insecticides and anesthetics for insects, reducing suffering in farming practices.

• Experience in research coordination and scientific study design.
• Knowledge of insect physiology, neuroscience, or animal welfare science.
• Ability to interpret scientific literature and communicate with academic partners.
• Willingness to travel to academic conferences 4-6 times annually.
