Research Project Manager

• Guide distributed AI safety teams as primary point-of-contact for direction, feedback, and accountability.
• Conduct kickoff calls and provide feedback on research artifacts including drafts, codebases, and writeups.
• Mentor researchers through academic publishing processes, including conference cycles and revision support.
• Manage daily operations including compliance tracking, progress monitoring, and reimbursements.

This role accelerates AI safety research by enabling distributed teams to produce high-quality work and navigate academic publishing, ultimately contributing to safer AI development.

• Experience managing research projects, preferably in AI safety or related fields.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
