Research Manager

• Own day-to-day project management across multiple concurrent research projects, building timelines, tracking deliverables, and anticipating roadblocks.
• Lead first-round drafting and editing of surveys, focus group guides, experiments, and other research tools based on strategic direction.
• Analyze findings from surveys, focus groups, and experiments to identify key takeaways and draft memos, briefings, and guidance documents.
• Manage, coach, and assign work to part-time research staff, including a Research Assistant.

This role contributes to countering fascism in the United States by producing research that informs how pro-democracy organizations communicate, mobilize, and make strategic decisions.

• Excellent project manager with ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and maintain timelines.
• Strong public opinion research experience, including drafting survey instruments and analyzing findings.
• Excellent writer and communicator, able to translate complex findings into clear memos and briefings.
• Analytically rigorous with sound judgment on question wording and data interpretation.
