Research Manager or Senior Research Manager

• Advance DWN's advocacy strategy through research, data analysis, and writing on immigration detention policy.
• Provide technical assistance and analysis on immigration detention to members, partners, and stakeholders.
• Build coalition power by representing DWN in national and local coalitions and developing collaborative advocacy strategies.

This role directly contributes to the abolition of immigration detention in the United States by providing critical research, analysis, and coalition-building support to advance DWN's advocacy goals.

• At least 4-6 years of experience working on policy, advocacy, or organizing.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with experience writing and editing reports.
• Knowledge of legislative and administrative processes, especially at the federal level.
• Experience researching and analyzing data, and interpreting legislative and regulatory language.

Salary: $70,000 – $80,000 (Research Manager) or $80,000 – $90,000 (Senior Research Manager), with additional cost-of-living adjustments. Benefits include a 4-day work week (32 hours), generous paid time off, wellness fund ($500/year), monthly cell phone stipend, and eligibility for an eight-week sabbatical after three years.
