Research Manager

• Support Research Affiliates through regular 1:1 meetings and provide feedback on their independent research.
• Provide feedback on research outputs, direction, writing, and help unblock obstacles.
• Organize community events including discussion groups, talks, and blog posts for affiliates.
• Offer coaching on research direction, career development, work habits, and goal-setting.

This role helps advance research on long-term risks by supporting affiliates who work on critical issues like AI safety and global catastrophic risks.

• Experience in research management or similar role.
• Strong communication and coaching skills.
• Ability to provide constructive feedback on research outputs.
• Organizational skills for event planning.
