Research Engineer

Core responsibilities:

• Develop scalable implementations of machine learning algorithms
• Use machine learning implementations to run scientific experiments
• Contribute to open source codebases such as Pytorch, HuggingFace Transformers and Accelerate
• Be involved in the write-up of results and credited as an author in papers

This role contributes to advancing AI safety research through developing scalable machine learning implementations and contributing to scientific papers in the field.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Machine learning engineering skills
• Experience with scientific computing and experimentation
• Ability to contribute to open source projects
• Research and academic writing capabilities
