Request for Proposals- Independent Audit Firms

Catalyst Now seeks an independent audit firm to:

• Conduct an annual financial statement audit in accordance with U.S. GAAP and GAAS, including internal control review and issuance of an audit opinion.
• Perform a grant-specific audit and agreed-upon procedures engagement for H&M Foundation funding, using U.S. standards equivalent to ISA 800/805 and ISRS 4400.
• Review IRS Form 990 for consistency with audited financials and present findings to the Audit Committee.

By ensuring financial integrity and compliance, this role supports Catalyst Now's mission to accelerate progress toward the SDGs, enabling effective resource allocation and trust among donors and partners.

Qualified firms must demonstrate:

• AICPA membership and most recent Peer Review Report with a 'Pass' rating.
• Experience with U.S. nonprofit audits, preferably for internationally operating 501(c)(3) organizations.
• Capability to perform GAAS audits aligned to special-purpose reporting and deliver agreed-upon procedures reports under AT-C 215.

Compensation is not specified in the posting. The engagement is a contract for audit services.
