What you will drive

  • Design field-level data collection sheets and review data from external partners for regenerative agriculture carbon projects.
  • Calculate carbon emissions (baseline and post-intervention) using quantification tools like the Cool Farm Tool.
  • Develop sampling designs, land use change assessments, and monitoring plans to track emission reductions.
  • Conduct research on carbon reduction potentials and create tools, protocols, and training materials to standardize work across projects.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • Master's degree or equivalent in environmental/resource management, agriculture development, or similar.
  • 5-8 years of experience in carbon topics related to agriculture, carbon accounting in the land sector, and insetting/offsetting project development.
  • Strong project management experience across different geographies and time zones.
  • Proven experience with GHG LSRG, SustainCert, and other carbon accounting tools; experience in soil organic carbon is an asset.
  • Fluent in English; Spanish and French are assets.
