Mission

What you will drive

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive media strategy to enhance the organization’s and Executive Director’s reputation and public image.
  • Build and maintain relationships with journalists, media outlets, influencers, and key stakeholders to secure positive media coverage.
  • Manage and grow the Executive Director’s owned media presence, with a focus on Substack, and develop a podium strategy for high-profile conferences.
  • Oversee content review, source checks, and ensure consistency of messaging across channels.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • At least eight years of experience in public relations, communications, or electoral campaigns.
  • Demonstrated experience in media relations, including building relationships with media outlets and influencers.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with strong copy editing and fact-checking abilities.
  • Proficiency in G Suite and Asana; familiarity with Substack, social media platforms, and media channels.

Starting salary range: $128,000–143,000.
