How to Apply for Program Coordinator

at Everyone On

🏢 About Everyone On

Everyone On is a national nonprofit and a pioneer in digital inclusion, having connected over 2 million people to affordable internet, distributed 10,000+ devices, and trained 6,000+ participants since 2012. What sets them apart is their holistic, community-centered approach—partnering directly with trusted local organizations in digitally excluded neighborhoods to address internet access, device ownership, and digital skills simultaneously. Working here means joining a mission-driven team that values adaptability, collaboration, equity, empathy, and innovation, and seeing the tangible ripple effects of your work in under-resourced communities.

About This Role

As Program Coordinator, you will be the operational backbone of Everyone On’s high-impact digital inclusion programs, ensuring smooth day-to-day execution from partner onboarding to participant tracking. Your work directly enables the delivery of internet access, devices, and digital skills training to Black/African American, Latino/x, and Tribal communities, turning strategic goals into on-the-ground results. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced nonprofit environment and wants to grow within the digital equity space.

💡 A Day in the Life

A typical day might involve checking in with community partners to confirm upcoming training sessions, updating participant data in the CRM, and coordinating with the programs team on logistics for a device distribution event. You’ll also spend time troubleshooting issues, preparing reports for funders, and joining virtual meetings to align on program goals—all while ensuring that every detail supports the mission of connecting people to opportunity.

🎯 Who Everyone On Is Looking For

  • 2–4 years of experience in program coordination, project management, or administrative support, preferably in a nonprofit or mission-driven setting.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, track data, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to digital equity, social justice, or community empowerment, with cultural competency working with diverse, under-resourced communities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable collaborating with internal teams, community partners, and corporate sponsors.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello), CRM/database systems, and Google Workspace; ability to learn new technology quickly.

📝 Tips for Applying to Everyone On

1

Highlight any experience coordinating programs or projects that serve Black/African American, Latino/x, or Tribal communities—Everyone On explicitly prioritizes these groups, so show you understand their context.

2

Quantify your impact in previous roles: e.g., 'coordinated training for 200 participants' or 'managed device distribution to 50 families' to demonstrate operational efficiency.

3

Familiarize yourself with key digital inclusion concepts (e.g., Affordable Connectivity Program, digital literacy, device refurbishment) and mention them in your application to show sector awareness.

4

Emphasize your ability to work remotely and independently—this is a fully remote role, so share concrete examples of how you've successfully managed tasks and communication across time zones.

5

Align your language with Everyone On’s five values (adaptability, collaboration, equity, empathy, innovation) by weaving them into your cover letter and resume bullet points.

✉️ What to Emphasize in Your Cover Letter

['Your passion for digital equity and why you want to specifically support Everyone On’s mission to connect under-resourced communities.', "Concrete examples of how you've coordinated multiple program logistics (e.g., scheduling, data tracking, partner communication) and the results you achieved.", 'Your experience working with diverse communities and how you ensure equity and empathy in program delivery.', "Your ability to adapt and innovate in a remote, fast-paced nonprofit environment, with specific tools or processes you've used to stay organized."]

⚠️ Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Submitting a generic cover letter that doesn’t mention digital inclusion or Everyone On’s specific mission—this role requires genuine passion for the cause.
