Program Associate

• Execute AI Now's flagship programs and convenings, including reports, events, trainings, and coalition gatherings.
• Provide core research support to the Senior Director, producing high-quality analysis on AI policy issues.
• Support policy strategy execution by tracking legislative developments and preparing briefings.

This role directly supports AI Now's mission to shape the future of AI and its role in society by executing critical programs and informing policy strategy that addresses corporate power, accountability, and societal impacts of AI.

• 3-5 years experience in policy advocacy, program management, or policy/economic/legal research related to technology, AI, or corporate power.
• Strong organization and project management skills, with ability to track simultaneous projects.
• Excellent research and writing skills, with ability to synthesize research into accessible formats.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and a self-starter in a small organization.

Full-time role with strong preference for Eastern Time Zone candidates. Partially remote with shared office space in Flatiron District starting fall 2026.
