Mission
What you will drive
- Oversee the evolution and scaling of Planet's hyperspectral data products, setting clear strategy and making principled tradeoffs to drive revenue growth as the constellation scales.
- Drive commercial growth by expanding foothold in the methane market and evolving the product portfolio into new markets to find product-market fit.
- Build and maintain the Product Roadmap for the Hyperspectral Offering, synthesizing inputs from customers and internal stakeholders while making clear prioritization decisions aligned with company strategy.
- Lead cross-functional alignment across Engineering, Science, and Commercial teams, ensuring clarity of direction while navigating ambiguity.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- 5+ years as a power-user of satellite imagery, remote sensing and GIS, preferably with experience using hyperspectral imagery.
- Demonstrated ability to operate in ambiguity, assess risk, and make high-quality decisions with incomplete data.
- Experience in an industry where advanced sensing could be applied such as defense, atmospheric sciences, agriculture, energy, environmental conservation or geology.
- Outstanding executive communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills; excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

US base salary range: $127,000 - $180,600 USD depending on location.
