Product Designer

• Own the design of customer-facing and internal product surfaces across Patch's platform, from environmental commodity research workflows to portfolio dashboards to transaction infrastructure.
• Ship code and prototype in production to validate ideas without relying on engineers.
• Embed with climate strategists and customers to observe real workflows and identify platform capabilities.
• Design interfaces where AI does material work, making AI contributions visible, trustworthy, and useful.

This role directly contributes to scaling environmental commodity markets (carbon removal, renewable energy, sustainable aviation fuel) by designing the platform that makes these markets easier to understand, trust, and buy at scale, thereby accelerating climate action.

• Product ownership: define problems, design solutions, and ship without waiting for a brief.
• Code fluency: experience committing production code and prototyping beyond Figma.
• AI-native workflow: daily use of AI tools in design process (generative design, AI-assisted prototyping, AI coding tools).
• Systems thinking: ability to design interfaces that clarify complex domains without oversimplifying.
• Operational design chops: experience designing information-dense, workflow-heavy tools (fintech, enterprise, data platforms).

• Salary: $170,000-$230,000 annually
