Product Designer

• Maintain and improve UI standards across Ecosia's product portfolio, including search, browser, and AI surfaces.
• Own critical user journeys end-to-end, guiding projects from research to shipped experiences.
• Build and grow with AI by using AI tools, building agents, and contributing to the codebase.
• Push the craft of the design system by contributing UI components, motion patterns, and design tokens.

By designing high-quality user experiences for Ecosia's search, browser, and AI products, you help millions of users engage with a platform that plants trees and fights climate change, directly contributing to reforestation and environmental sustainability.

• A portfolio that proves UI taste and technical proficiency, with attention to motion, typography, and details.
• Genuine curiosity about AI in the design process and willingness to grow technical skills.
• Cross-surface range or instinct for it, thinking in journeys rather than screens.
• Organized, able to manage own work, with a bias for action and 3–5 years of relevant experience.
