Principal Gifts Coordinator

• Support the AVP in cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding prospects and donors in EDF's major and principal portfolio.
• Draft, edit, and proofread donor communications, proposals, and stewardship reports.
• Manage project timelines for proposals and reports, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Assist with donor tracking, meeting preparation, acknowledgements, and fundraising reports.

This role directly supports the Environmental Defense Fund's mission to preserve the natural systems on which all life depends by enabling successful fundraising efforts that secure critical resources for environmental programs.

• Associate degree or equivalent with at least 3 years of relevant experience (Bachelor's may substitute for 2 years).
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Salesforce or fundraising databases preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills, cultural competency, and ability to work independently and in teams.
