Power Systems Engineer I

• Perform bulk power system studies using industry-standard software platforms including PSS/E, PSCAD, Aspen, and TARA, including steady-state, short circuit, and dynamic & transient stability analyses.
• Support advanced and specialized grid studies such as Sub-Synchronous Resonance (SSR) analyses, and contribute to the development of mitigation plans for identified system constraints and reliability issues.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned project tasks in alignment with quality standards and budget objectives.
• Participate in client meetings and communications to gather project inputs and help address questions or concerns related to ongoing studies.

• Strong organizational and communication skills — written and verbal — with a demonstrated ability to clearly explain complex technical matters to diverse audiences.

• Strong technical and report writing skills, with the ability to produce clear, well-structured, and professional engineering deliverables.
