What you will drive

  • Own commercial analytics for designated ISO market(s) and serve as internal subject matter expert on market strategy and pricing dynamics.
  • Partner with engineering to identify and prioritize performance improvement opportunities on a per-ISO basis.
  • Produce weekly, monthly, and quarterly market intelligence for internal stakeholders and external customers.
  • Prototype internal tooling and monitoring infrastructure for risk outlooks and real-time market monitors.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • 5+ years of experience in wholesale power markets with hands-on exposure to market operations, energy trading, storage dispatch, or market analytics.
  • Deep knowledge of at least one organized electricity market (MISO, SPP, CAISO, NYISO, PJM) including market structure, bidding rules, and settlement mechanics.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, or equivalent analytical tooling strongly preferred.
  • Ability to translate complex market dynamics into clear, data-backed narratives for technical and non-technical audiences.
