People Team Specialist

• Create a positive and welcoming experience for all new hires by coordinating and leading new hire orientation sessions
• Serve as a primary point of contact for incoming employees, responding to questions and requests for information prior to their start date
• Support internal compliance audits, including I-9 audits, and oversee compliance training via the learning management system
• Generate and maintain reports from various HR systems for the Employee Relations and Compliance team

This role ensures employees feel supported from their first interaction with Joby through their entire employee lifecycle, contributing to a positive workplace culture that enables the company to develop sustainable air transportation, reducing urban congestion and emissions.

• 2+ years of experience in People Operations, HR Compliance, or a related field
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with DocuSign, HRIS systems, and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace

Compensation includes base pay and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). Target base pay: $70,304 - $114,400/yr. Benefits include paid time off, healthcare, 401(k) with company match, ESPP, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, and more.
