People Operations Specialist

• Provide first-level support on employee relations matters, including policy interpretation and issue resolution.
• Own payroll processing and validation for Canada and the US, ensuring accuracy of standard pay, timecards, and ad-hoc adjustments.
• Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, terminations, and inquiries.
• Drive high-volume delivery of core HR lifecycle processes such as onboarding, offboarding, and leave administration.

By ensuring smooth HR operations and payroll accuracy, this role supports Too Good To Go's mission to fight food waste, enabling the organization to scale its impact and reduce greenhouse gas emissions from food waste.

• 2+ years of experience in Human Resources or People Operations within a fast-paced environment.
• Hands-on experience with HR operations, payroll, and benefits in both Canada and the US.
• Strong understanding of HR processes, policies, and compliance considerations across North America.
• High-ownership mindset, strong organizational skills, and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

• Base salary range: $70,000 - $73,000 per annum
