Position Summary: Natura International is seeking a part-time Operations Manager. The Operations Manager is the only staff person other than the President and plays an important role in supporting Natura’s administrative efficiency and functionality. Natura International is a US-based, relatively small non-profit that conserves tropical ecosystems in Latin America by granting to in-country conservation groups. See https://naturainternational.org/ Core Responsibilities Administration, Finance and Operations: Perform simple monthly bookkeeping and pay grant amounts Support Natura’s annual IRS 990 filing Complete general administrative and logistical support across the organization provide support for board meetings Communications: Draft annual reports, project descriptions, and other public-facing materials Provide website content updates to our external webmaster Support donor outreach materials as needed Programmatic Responsibilities: Ensure narrative and financial reports are up to date for all projects Coordinate and support activities with in-country groups as needed. Qualifications Required: Bookkeeping experience (QuickBooks, Excel) Strong written English communication skills Comfortable working independently in a virtual, small-team environment Preferred: Spanish language proficiency Familiarity with international conservation or nonprofit work Location: Virtual (the President of Natura International is based in Washington DC). Compensation: $26-32/hour; paid monthly. Closing Date: 15 September 2026 Schedule & Structure: This is a part-time administrative position expected to average 12-16 hours per week with an expectation that the candidate would have some time available as needed on any given day.
