Operations Manager (or Director, depending on experience)

• Oversee core operational functions including finance, human resources, administration, compliance, and technology for Civic TN and Action TN.
• Manage budgeting, financial planning, reporting, and compliance with nonprofit regulations.
• Support board management, human resources, and IT systems to ensure organizational excellence.

This role ensures the operational backbone of organizations working to amplify the voices of underrepresented communities in Tennessee, enabling effective civic engagement and progressive policy advocacy.

• 3-5 years experience in financial management, operations, and compliance with multi-entity organizations.
• Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets of $1–$3 million.
• Demonstrated commitment to racial and gender equity and experience working with underrepresented communities.
• Experience with CRM databases (EveryAction, Salesforce, etc.), accounting software (QuickBooks), and Google Suite preferred.
