Operations Director / VP of Operations

• Build and lead a best-in-class operations department from the ground up, establishing best practices across finance, HR, grant operations, technology, compliance, and risk management.
• Guide the organization through the process of spinning out from fiscal sponsor to become an independent 501(c)(3).
• Serve as a key strategic voice as the organization scales, finding operational solutions for large-scale in-person and/or digital programs.

This role enables Consultants for Impact to achieve its most ambitious goals by building the operational foundation for rapid growth and independence, ultimately helping more consultants channel their skills toward meaningful social impact.

• Senior operations leader with experience building or significantly scaling operations at a nonprofit or startup.
• Able to operate independently and comfortably in ambiguity.
• Steady, thoughtful leadership that makes change feel manageable.
• Passionate about meaningful social impact and taking both impact and people seriously.
